ASA takes a ‘landscape-led’ approach to play spaces, where equipment and setting are designed together, to enhance each other. These provide more play opportunities than the traditional playground, and also hold the interest of children for longer, too: Inwood Park in LB Hounslow is a good example, with photos here by Phil Doyle of Inspire 2.
We are happy to take on smaller play projects, including school sites, and believe that we can demonstrate the added value that a full design service can bring to the process. We enjoy working with artists to create bespoke playable structures, designed for their particular site.
