Spaces for health and wellbeing

The practice offers services to healthcare facilities across the country ranging from detailed design of new garden spaces, through to site appraisals, grounds maintenance reviews, and tree and woodland planting schemes to help mitigate climate change and assist facilities with reaching their environmental targets.

We are happy to work as part of a wider design team on new facilities or directly for Facilities and Estates Management teams on refurbishments to existing spaces. We work mainly on projects where the needs of the end-users (whether patients, staff, or visitors) are the priority, and where these are taken into consideration, projects will be successful.

"The garden will allow people to be themselves and have their own space … sometimes that's more valuable than any medicine."

Cath Cox, Maggie's Centre, London

“I think this truly is a great piece of work …sound, timely and inspirational. It is full of practical, do-able advice and should be read by a wide audience – as relevant to the fields of social care, community and neighbourhood projects, as it is to health.”
Janet Doyle, Healthcare Consultant and former CEO The Norfolk Hospice
