Sovereign Housing Association

The practice started a new partnership with Sovereign Housing Association (SHA) in 2014 in the form of as term consultancy. We’re working on a wide range of projects which focus on improving the environment on estates for SHA residents; working closely with Sovereign staff – housing officers, maintenance staff, and asset managers – we’ve worked on sites across the south of England, from Christchurch in Dorset through to Oxfordshire. Many landscape architects find working in social housing too challenging: however we enjoy working closely alongside residents, and seeing how quite modest changes can make huge improvements to their daily lives, whether these consist of better drying areas and bin stores or new areas of butterfly-friendly shrub planting.
