Our design process is people-centred: we design schemes with a strong focus on the needs of the people who will be using them. Our projects are characterised by flair and creativity, but we also have our feet firmly on the ground. We are friendly, enthusiastic designers, who listen properly, helping clients work out the difference between what they want, and what they need. We are highly skilled facilitators and enjoy working with community groups to tease out their requirements, and what's possible to achieve, on the ground.
Director Aileen Shackell is proud to have worked for the London-based consultancy Land Use Consultants where she worked extensively on some of the most high profile sites in London, from emotionally-charged spaces such as the September 11th Memorial Garden in Grosvenor Square through to the capital's Royal Parks, including the restroration of the Avenue Gardens (Regents' Park), and the re-design of part of Pembroke Lodge Gardens, in Richmond Park.
