Landscape
and garden design
The
nature of the outdoors environment around the buildings
in which we live and work makes an enormous difference
to our quality of life. Whether part of the public domain
- parks and other open spaces - or a private garden,
well designed spaces which have a strong sense of place,
complement the built environment and enable contact
with the natural world are essential to our well-being.
The
river boundary to a busy retail park in south London,
known as Pickle Ditch, seemed initially to have
very limited potential as public open space. However
a sensitively designed scheme funded through a Section
106 agreement carved out an attractive riverside seating
space where passers-by can feel apart from the noise
and bustle of the nearby high street, and enjoy sitting
quietly in the sunshine.
We
can help with all aspects of landscape design, and can
also offer a garden design service from outline sketch
design and / or preparation of planting plans through to
a full design service, including looking after the
garden’s construction.
